Re: The Qabiilist and the Political Qabiilist
qabiilism or clanism is the most premitive system of descrimination.i dont think you can seperate qabiilist from political qabiilist they go hand n hand....but it will take a long time for somalia to be qabiil free.

Somalis have been killing each other for years. Solution = kill more Somalis to gain peace. #GabreLogic. #KillMeNow
Re: The Qabiilist and the Political Qabiilist
I don't hate Daaroods but I hate the garbage in their head the mythology of the Master Clan. Am I a qabiilist? To some yes to other maybe not, but whats important is am justified.

Marques,
Gabre has a point. There needed to be a total clear victory which never occurred. Caydiid was the closest before the UN interfered and so was Hassan Dahir Aweys who finished off the warlords & nearly choked the Yusuf regime.
A lot of blood letting must occur preferably in a short period of time so that power is consolidated in one group's hand.
To answer Geoseven's question:
1980-1992 - I was a Hawiyist.
1993-1995 - I was a HGist
1996-2014 - Suufist

In a nutshellJasmine6 wrote:The entire socio-political system is an oxymoron. We can't accept qabyaalad socially yet make it the foundation of politics

To answer your question, if you bluff in a poker game, is it accurate to call you a liar? These are the rules of the game.
No, it isn't. The ruled of the game indeed.
Abdiwahab, I would term you as a model Political QabiilistAbdiWahab252 wrote:

Re: The Qabiilist and the Political Qabiilist
Being a 'Political Qabiilist' is the fastest way to succeed in the system in Somalia today. Can't blame them we live in a different world.
Whats the sad is if these notions manifest onto the 2nd gen Somalis in the west.

Re: The Qabiilist and the Political Qabiilist
I got an invitation to a party for the new mogadishu mayor but I didn't go there just bc of the mayors popular talk!
Its a bad thing to see ex professors who would attend a larger clan political meetings publically some even would build their political bases on their larger clans
Somalia is tried of clanism, it needs regionalism like ahlusunna, modern islamists, progressive political parties and so on.

Let the hate go, they have been defeated.X.Playa wrote:I don't hate Daaroods but I hate the garbage in their head the mythology of the Master Clan. Am I a qabiilist? To some yes to other maybe not, but whats important is am justified.
thier attempt to re-write history failed with their defeat.
now lets move on, they can have their mythology, we can have ours, let everyone have theirs.
The good news is that now there is no powerfull state existing with the power to force feed one clans mythology to everyone else through the school system.

amen gurey! amen!

PS Xplaya's hate for darood stems from his hate for arabs. Playa was molested by arabs, that caused him a great traumatic life miseries. Given that darood claim arabness, this becomes a central issue for xqanis. lol He is also Patriotic, just like the qaniis Adali. The reason he is Somali patriotic, is because in his youth he had no identity.

PS not to mention, darood people tend to brag about their might and brains, and their diin which xplaya lacks and feels jealous of.
