There are laws that federal states have to be 2 or more regions so no the western isaaq clans cannot split. If there is a proposition to create a new federal region and the people agree with it - then the gov has to honour that.
The foundation of federalism is clan, it is a proposal so that clans can manage their own land without heavy interference from the capital gov. If some communities are forced to other clan states and they dissagree then their will be conflict. It is why Jubbaland exists and there is no 6 region state, it is also why the digil - mirifle are campaigning to include lower shabelle to Bay and Bakool.

We cannot split a region because of clan. Otherwise some of the 18 regions of Somalia would want to split and join other regions this not acceptable we cannot redraw the borders of the 18 regions of Somalia.

And no the foundation of federalism is not clan. Why are Somalis so retarded? Federalism was implemented to bring power to the regions as Somalis used to complain that central government did not care about the regions but only the capital city.

Digil and Mirifle want lower Shabelle because of the coast not because of land grabbing etc. Besides Somalis have need to learn what federalism means.

Regards to SNM and their aggression against Dhullos and Warsans it is nothing to do with clan hatred. Dhullos, Warsans and Isaaqs are neighbours and have historic relations, the tension between them is regards to Somalilands plea for recognition and therefore it is important for them to control the lands of former British Somaliland. So if anything you as a patriotic person need to support the Lax Lax than the secessionist SNM. As the Lax Lax want the blue flag

Honestly I see the Isaac as harmless and eccentric. In the past I could never figure out as to why the Isaacs were always constly fighting and killing the Ogadens.

Naivly I used to say people should help the Ogadens rather than cause them more confilct and problems, but walahi now i understand the reasons behind the actions of the isaacs,
