Only a few Muslim countries (i.e. communist Yemen, late Ghaddafi whom you admired) sided with the enemy. More (Egypt, Gulf countries and others) helped Somalia in different ways (arms/weapons, oil, financial, etc).XimanJaale wrote:Shame that the Muslim world didn't help us. Some even fought against us

Dont forget about the Pakistani airforce pilots who flew our planes. The Gulf countries who donated aircraft and provided fuel, arms and cash.Arabman wrote:Only a few Muslim countries (i.e. communist Yemen, late Ghaddafi whom you admired) sided with the enemy. Re: 20 year anniversary of the Rwandan genocide
Puntland supported the ethiopians on their 2006 invasion of Somalia. Puntland was in danger of being overrun by al-Shabaab. I remember then Puntland's president saying his region was gonna adopt Shariica as a strategy of convincing al-Shabaab not to overrun Puntland.Tanker wrote:Fuck the UAE crown prince for congratulatingt the ethiopians on their 2006 invasion of Somalia

Re: 20 year anniversary of the Rwandan genocide
Genocide occurred in the great lakes region, not because the US didn't intervene, but because they did intervene.
It was a geopolitical strategy to oust the French from central Africa, so US/Canadian/Australian/UK mining corporations could plunder the region.
The genocide in Rwanda ( not the western fabricated narrative), was merely an opening scene of a much wider genocide, encompassing the entire region, Eastern Congo, Northern Uganda, southern Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, Central African Republic.
Conservative estimates suggest six million civilians have perished in this ONGOING genocide.
Why do folk still swallow western media lies about Africa?
This is news about Africa you won't see on CNN/BBC
It's a bit dated ...but puts the "Tutsi genocide" in it's true context
