You would rather erase one of the significant Somali history of modern ages? You want to ignore all the positivity of the former Somali government. How many African countries did it help out? It gave Somalis free health and education, it implemented many positivity such as literacy campaign, writing system. It made Somalia one of the most respected countries etc.

So you would rather erase a important aspect of Somali history, just because of the war between rebels and the government in the last years in it's power. There is no government in the world that hasn't made mistake, but to erase your own history is just sad.

The cuqdad and hate is just mind-blowing

21 Oktoobar, a history that can never be erased even by haters. Sheffield kulaha

Naming the district after a city in northern england is not a very big deal considering we already have; london and Scandinavia. I can see whats burning a resident Boons and it has something to do with their fathers legacy...

Don't worry Burco ain't that significant. Even if they erase Xaafada Oktoobar. There are countless of names attributed to the former Kacaan government and it's leader in street names and area names in the biggest city in Somalia, the capital Mogadishu.

Why stop at the second in command of a terrorist organisation and name it after the current incarnation Godane? Its either look through history objectively and others do the same or you put on your darod tinted glasses and we all do the same..

You are nothing but a beggar in Mogdisho and when the sh!t hits the fan and the locals get restless, best be ready for that long walk to Utanga... :o

Are you becoming historian adiguna? besides naming has nothing to do with me. I am old fashioned qaxooti.
