Who's looking to pay back their student loans?

it's not a loan, its a tax, you cant avoid it, the minimum payment is taken automatically of your pay and shown as student loan on your payslip, i pay about 40 quid a month eventhough I never graduated

im assuming you took the loan during the old tution fee scheme, so youre earning above 16,000 without graduating?

yeah i took it during the old scheme, I don't earn 16k though, well, i don't get a fixed salary, i get paid hourly so they recalculate on a monthly basis, sometimes I do overtime and earn over a grand then I get the student loan taken off, some months I earn less and I don't get anything taken off, 16k a year every month would be around 1400, so if I earn around that figure I see the student loan on my payslip, I wouldn't be too bothered about it though, its not a loan in the classical sense that you will get bailliffs knocking on your door, or ridiculous interest charges, or late payment fees

Before I signed away my soul I read through the legal details of the loans, Its said I have to be earning 16k to pay it back. I also have to be physically and mentally fit and if the student dies, the debt dies with him/her.

So Islamically if the other party decides that your debts are cleared, then its cleared right?
