I judge beauty through their face and it has to look sharp thin nose etc. I also judge by their body, they have to have a soft body not muscular or fat. I like small boned women with nice ass and boobs, but I'm more of a boob man I like big boobs. Regards to height, I like them medium neither tall and neither short. Skin colour I don't care aslong as they are not dark as a coal. I usually prefer a girl that has lighter complexion than me, dating a girl darker than me is not nice. Other than cool

Black women, who have to rely on this society's consensus of beauty..as contrived by the media, are portrayed here as "most beautiful" when they look like Lupita(who looks like a black woman) and "most influential" when they look like Beyonce(who looks like a white woman). So what is the message here that is implicitly sold to black women then?

Shouldn't this be viewed as a positive? That an ethnic woman who remained true to her features is considered the 'most beautiful' woman? Isn't this a blow to the standard of beauty in Western (and many Eastern) societies? Or is this simply a marketing tool that will continue to allow major magazine companies to "pick" who is considered beautiful enough to make an arbitrary list year in and year out? How long are we going to consume and be apart of these corporal beauty pageants?

I've never quite found what you might call "black" women attractive. As a child or young teen I gravitated toward arab girls cos I never had any Somali or Ethio or Eritrean girls around at all and preferred the arabs to jareer women.

I do think that jareer women have amazing bodies though. Forgive me for getting perverted for a moment but idk, they really have these incredibly curvy bodies that look they were sculpted to perfection, they excite me quite a bit but their facial features and hair turn me off A LOT...

Beauty depends on whomever is judging the person tbh. I'm sure alotta Nigerian, Kenyan, Congolese or Malian dudes would find their own women pretty or attractive or just like them quite a bit. I mean I've had my friends go crazy for certain girls and then when I look at that particular girl I just go "What? Her? C'mon bro, she's average at best." and I've had my friends do the same thing with women I've liked at times too.

I think that the media subliminally tells people that what you might call "caucasian" looks, like- thin long noses or an aquiline or narrow noses, soft hair that is either curled or straight, and long features are the epitome of beauty. Think about it... I've always found it sickeningly strange that whenever they call jareer or African American women BEAUTIFUL it's always ones who look caucasian or horn african ish like Kerry Washington or ones who are mixed like Vanessa Williams. I'm probably jumping the gun here but I'm slightly convinced that they honestly are trying to brainwash people into thinking that people with these looks are the epitome of what beauty is. I watched this psychological test where they brought some African American and White/ European American toddlers together and had them judge a toy doll's beauty... All of the kids including the african american ones were claiming the "white" dolls were better looking. The media brainwashes everyone at a young age to believe that Northern European looks like Blonde hair and blue eyes and then that the general caucasian look is what beautiful should be.

I personally don't like pale skin all that much, as a teen I preferred latinas or southern european women/ mediteranean types and arabs with olive skin or very tan skin, dark hair and dark eyes. I like blonde hair when its sandy and stuff but the pale blue eyed sometimes pink skinned look just never did it for me. I'd probably still bang a girl with those looks but she wouldn't get me off as much as a Spaniard like Penelope Cruz would, to be honest- when it comes to sex I think jareer women (the bodies...Oh, the bodies) excite me more than northern or western euros.. But that's just my personal taste.

I mean how her skin shines, I dunno how to describe it but she's hit a certain flawless unblemished brown that I personally like. But I agree on the African count... I dunno if she is using creams but I have met horn african women with that skin type, ones I was related to that I could tell just naturally had it. Even I used to and still get complimented for how smooth and unblemished most of my skin is. I'm 19 and never really had pimples on my face, just the RARE one on the side of my head next to my hair and that fades quick. I maybe jumping to conclusions but I think we have quite nice skin, flawless and smooth most of the time. And calm down with the Jareer or bantu hate, they're different from us, truly, but there's no need to hate on them.
