Probably. Not sure if there was a clause regarding this but anybody with a parent born in Somalia would be a Somali national by default.

I'm an American national of Somali origins. I don't think I have Somali nationality as I don't have any Somali documents

Still though every American asks Me 'Where are You from originally' even though I have no accent. Next time I'll just say Wtf, I'm originally American, whats 'original' supposed to mean?
After you tell them you should ask, what about you? :MJ:

no, im not lying. i never had somali nationality and my peeps refused ethiopian one, so im wondering where they would deport me!
the question "where are you from originally?" just means are you white or not.

Somali takes the number one spot, as I am ethnically Somali born in the U.S, raised in Canada and I also have Ethiopian citizenship card also"don't ask". I would add Djibouti as well but my grandmother is from there so I'd give myself a .5.

I'd say 4.5 Nationalities. 8-)

The diversity on here :Obama:

I answered No to the question, as far as I am aware it is not a lie. That said, inshaAllah when I go back to Somalia I'm definitely getting myself citizenship and a passport. It would feel amazing to have the nationality of the country where I am part of the majority. No longer would I ever tick a box that says Black African or be an "immigrant".

Just realised I'd still be considered a dayusbaro immigrant :sadcam:

Oh well, still a Somali woman in Somalia
