Grow up. You sound retarded, if Somalis continue having your mentality your country will remain a shithole and your people will still be humiliated around the world. Stupid najis with too much cuqdad. Can't believe you are a Marehan, never seen Marehan with your attitude

Those who want division lack in their deen. This is a fact that can not be refuted in anyway. Read your holy book  Then answer with irrationality !

Nonetheless you can't really blame SL, they separated from savages and a dictatorship and they do live 100000 miles from Xamar
What the fuck does this thread got to do with Somaliland? This thread is about unity amongst all Somalis you dumb fucker. When ever the word unity is mentioned people assume its all about Somaliland/Somalia when the whole f-king country is divided from Raas Kambooni to Raas Casyer.

Ximanxaarle ina adeer don't get all fired up for no reason, as a former citizen of the Somali republic I have thrown in the towel, because people who slaughter their neighbors in their sleep are not fit to be called my country men. It is not that I am unforgiving, just that I am realistic, you on the other hand want to manipulate honest hard working Somalis with your insanity called unity, people like you put many lives at risk, you sell midnimo for personal gain whether it be financial or reputation, and it makes me sick, unity is not practical, at least not now. You're deluded enough to think you can sell that Bullshit to people after what has happened.

This topic has nothing to do with Marehan akhi, you need to stop being emotional, I don't appreciate you politicizing my heritage.

2011. khaatumo said we are not part of somaliland neither buntiland we are our own nation.

2012: Mogadishu said iam waking up and i have peace atlast .yes we need Taxi drivers and hotel workers from hargeysa .yes you can come to mogadishu becuase you can find work unlike HARGEYSA..

2013. our muslims brother turkish come to Mogadishu and start rebuiling it.. .

2014: dr yalaxoow know that somaliland no one will ever recognise here.. cuz international community know if they let hargeysa go away then buuhooodle and laascanood also they will start jabhad war against hargeysa to free their khaatumo land and boorame too one day they will anounce their small town as new republick in the horn of africa...

Never heard of anything called Somaliland independence day. I only know 3 independence days for the Somali people 26th June, 27 th June and 1st July.

So nope, there is no coincidence :)

High development is not a prerequisite for all Somalia but its is political and social stabillity. Even before the government collapsed somalia was a WFP playground and major infrastructure was built by foreigners; this was because a weak economy.
What Somalia needs is a long term solution to its problems; if unity does not solve the long existing problems then it will be for nothing. Lastly the reason why somalia is relatively stagnant is because of the level of civilization.

Lets not rewrite history Somalia was not always a WFP playground and the revolutionary government was a strong advocate of self-reliance. Also not all major infrastructure was built by foreigners, so lets not lie about that as well.

Just like all African countries whom were coming out of colonisation we had our ups and downs. But sadly Somalis were too anarchist and power hungry and destroyed their country for no reason. Looting and destroying.

And yes Unity does solve long existing problems. This is a fact you cannot hide. All developing nations and developed nations are aware of the importance of unity and how it has an influence on the civilisation of their society.

Nice poem shared by our member Hydrogen.
"Pity the nation that is full of beliefs and empty of religion.
Pity the nation that wears a cloth it does not weave
and eats a bread it does not harvest.

Pity the nation that acclaims the bully as hero,
and that deems the glittering conqueror bountiful.

Pity a nation that despises a passion in its dream,
yet submits in its awakening.

Pity the nation that raises not its voice
save when it walks in a funeral,
boasts not except among its ruins,
and will rebel not save when its neck is laid
between the sword and the block.

Pity the nation whose statesman is a fox,
whose philosopher is a juggler,
and whose art is the art of patching and mimicking

Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting,
and farewells him with hooting,
only to welcome another with trumpeting again.

Pity the nation whose sages are dumb with years
and whose strongmen are yet in the cradle.

Pity the nation divided into fragments,
each fragment deeming itself a nation."

Khalil Gibran (The Garden of the Prophet - 1934)
