Dhaanto was initially not only a dance by Absame of Ogaden alone, although they claim to be monopolizing it, similar to how Zeylaci is not a ciyaar Gadabursi solely. There are some dances that are practiced by people according to region, and there are variations that I get.

Reer Konfur dude the dance Saylaci is from Awdal [North west Somaliland]. I assume you don't know much in the way of Somali dances. Although you claim to be the sole generator of Dhaanto, with many other dances, so what are they if you mind me asking?

I just watched a saylici ciyaar, and all I could see was claping and turining lol reminds me of the Turkish derviches. There's Saar and another wild ciyaar called Diisoow played in the Jubooyinka and NFD strictly. Now those are ciyaaro with energy.
