Somebody's been watching a bit too much HIMYM.

I have this fantasy that i will go to a hospital for a check up, get told to go in a room. The lady (turned to the computer) tells me to sit down and take off my shirt, she then turns around has the most beautiful face, she looks at me and smiles as she touches my six pack. She is quite shy and asks me what i do, i look at her with a smug face and tell her i am an investment banker at deutsche bank. I then make a really funny joke about bankers that has her rolling on the floor. AT this point, she is blushing and playing with her hair, i ask her if she is married , to my relief she says no, then i ask is she has a boyfriend and once again she replies with a smiling NO. She is finished Checking up and tells me to put my shirt back and i can see as i do the buttons that she is looking and biting her lips. I then ask her out to dinner in which refuses at first saying that i am her patient, but i insist saying i will get another doctor if i have to, after 8 mins of flirting i go off.

BTW= she is from Colombia, she has a very nice body. She also has curly hair like shakira and she is wearing glasses

p.s i am wearing a £3000 suit and she is just blown away

Lakin it got me wondering. There are quite a few single Somali guys and girls out there who already are in or approaching the age of settling down. How do you plan on navigating those waters? Those who are married how did you meet your spouse?

For me I always thought it would be a chance meeting, a spark, a shared experience, a memorable conversation, a 'we'll probably never see each other again' realisation. In reality it's never as romantic and the guys are never as captivating.


Nevertheless in my travels, that remains to be my expectation.
