I should be flattered because a fat oday who lives off some western donation and claims to be an MP for a third world country is trying to get at me?JaalleMarx wrote:I like this pick up line ” madaxaaga oo biyo lagu shubo gormaa kuugu dambeeysey?”
Osob; I note that you consider the size of a man’s wallet as a factor. You should be flattered by the admiration from 50 dollar/month airport workers and beer bellied MPs.
I always get the “aboowe macaan” “aan is barano” treatment from uneducated, fat, whitened (turns dark after a few minutes) and old Xalimos.
BTW: Zwei fragen. Sind sie verheiratet? Wo in Deutschland wohnst du?

Come on Osob!!! Are you a material woman? And besides, we live in a modern world where it is no longer the norm that the man provides.Osob101 wrote:I should be flattered because a fat oday who lives off some western donation and claims to be an MP for a third world country is trying to get at me?JaalleMarx wrote:I like this pick up line ” madaxaaga oo biyo lagu shubo gormaa kuugu dambeeysey?”

Well, there is always an uneveness in relationships. What is wrong if you provide? Do not become a victim of hubris.Osob101 wrote:So am a material women because i want to have a good lifestyle that am use to? You're 100% correct about the rampant sexism. I was editing a paper once, and a man tried to make conversation by asking me whether or not I actually understood the content of the piece. And I was like yeah? I speak English? I can read? I have eyes? Fuck you?

That goes both ways, meine dame. I am a man and when I am overseas that is what I experience. Women flock to me. I will argue that it is a question of poverty.blitzkrieg wrote:You're 100% correct about the rampant sexism. Re: Life as an unmarried Working Women in Somalia
I was at the Airport flying-out of Xamar, while I was waiting for my flight I was introduced to this so called top offical who is incharge of the airport telling how the Turks are in contract to upgrade Aden Adde international and so on and so fourth and all these other changes that are taking place. Throughout the entire time, he is drinking tea out of those paper-cups and this so called official; as soon as he finished his tea he dropped the cup right in the middle of the depature/ waiting area with people everywhere and continued talking like that was normal.
What fucked me even more was, the cleaner was this damn near 70 year old ayeeyo who was barely able to walk cleaning after this asshole who is suppose to be the head of the airport and the other cleaner was a mentally ill gentleman who i doubt was aware of his surroundings. The old lady also tried to sell me Xanjo iyo Nacnac at least 40 times.
Airport safety was ridiculous, nobody bothered to check my bags or looked at my documents when i landed from Kismayo; i even joked with this AU official and said 'is anybody going to check my bags' only then he bothered to look.

No, it was less about him bothering me and more about him questioning whether or not I could actually read a report. He thought that the content was too difficult for me to infer, as if I somehow lied about my credentials.JaalleMarx wrote:That goes both ways, meine dame.
