With all due respect, you're just wasting your time. Hargeysa will never be a tourist destination. There is nothing remarkable whatsoever about the place.

A business like a Zoo is required by a society at large and creates employment and educational opportunities for school children, but you need the financial support of wealthy donors and the populace to run a successful and the humane treatment of your animals. Starting a Zoo from scratch and importing all the animals requires investing more funds than creating few factories and you need the political connections to access and lease all these animals from foreign public and private zoos. The cost is astronomical and also, you need the staff who have knowledge and the expertise in zoology. Start with a children farm and collect cost-effective native animals.

If any of these animals are still left in Somalia, then they are the native animals whom I mentioned above. A lion or a tiger needs more meat than a Somali village can consume and how would you supply them? Besides, you need the logistics and funds to move these big animals from their natural habitat to a zoo in Hargeisa. Also, you need professional veterinarians to look after their well-being. You can't neglect and replace them like they are pets you could pack them in your car and take them to a cage in your zoo. If it was that simple and easy money to be made, every Somali town would have their own zoo.

Do I sense some hostility ? In my Haram both sexes are welcome..man will be served by 4 females of their choosing to bath thoroughly while the girls will have the opportunity to pick one guy from a lineup. I believe in equality of the genders.
Err, mistaken me for a feminazi- I dun care.

As for the comment I was really quoting. Yes, but at least you’re honest and outwardly selfish. As for the rest of the Diaspora’s addiction to monopoly and incredibly transparent, “we’re helping the economy” mantra...
