Race is not the issue here. What kind of idiot walks towards a police officer with a deadly weapon? When you do that, it gives them the go ahead to shoot your stupid ass in the head and they will get away with it because they are trained to do that. Part of their training is safety first and anything that endangers them must be put down which explains why cops always either use excessive force or shoot when it is not necessary. Black people really need to understand this. The only way you can be save if you are ever confronted by a cop is to completely surrender and let them arrest you. Otherwise, they'll shoot you and get away with it and at the end of the day, you are the loser.

Cops are humans too. They are like the rest of us. When we react to danger, we throw a fist but these niggas throw a bullet. IT was his fault that he got shot.

This is how the police in the uk used to deal with machete wielding loonies, now they got tazers. Theres a number of things these u.s. He was no immediate threat to anyone, people were walking past him just before he was gunned down, if 2 officers can't handle the situation, hold back and make sure it is not escalating whiles calling for back-up.

Aren't American police taught martial arts? They could have easily subdued the guy, or even shoot to wound as someone suggested. Senseless killing.

First thing your reminded when getting your licenses to own a gun is that if you feel threaten or your life is on the line, you have every right to shot to kill, shooting them in the leg or any where else where it doesn't demobilize them permanently, your asking to pay for their recovery or worse your reliable to be sued in the process considering it's your word against theirs'. As for had he been white in a similar scenario, he'd still be dead.
