We have British colonial articles dating back to the 19th-Early 20th century talking about how the areas they ceded to Italy (modern day Jubbland) was 80% made up of Daroods at the time.

Chinaman while Darood has a supermajority in Jubaland, we mostly live on the west side of the river, especially in the Jubas. I want Darood to settle in large numbers all over Jubaland, particularly west of the river in Middle Juba. Move Darood populations from places like Garbahary to land between Yoontoy and Fanoole on the river, for example. So in my scenario, we may only need to shift existing population to more productive lands.

I don't think it would be a good idea to settle only Daroods in J/Land.
The best solution would be to open up the region to all Somali's...Daroods, Hawiyes, Dir, D&M, 0.5 etc.
PS the most prosperous regions/cities in Somalia are mixed.
