Wow whats with hate on the UK brothers?
One low life faarax does not speak for the rest of the brother's out there.
I know few masha allah fellas from the UK, meel walba waa dhag dhag cilmi iyo asluuba. Every single faarax is not born with the same characteristics.
Qof walba waa dooqisa, if the Americans do it for ya...its fair enough

Most definitely never finished a book never mind being articulate and sophisticated.. wearing that tshirt with that matching NY hat doesnt substitute intelligence nor class.
They are utter failure and any european somali in here can back me up with that statement..
Ps. We litterally destroyed qpr yesterday..top four challengers easily
Your complete and utter generalisation is nauseating. I've said is my post that you'll find good and bad whether is in the UK or anywhere else. The OP, stated one guys manners. Witch hardly represents the rest. Now why are you so bitter towards our fellas? What have they done to you?
I have nothing in particular against brothers. its just that I find their high unemployment rate lack of social skills and their obvious wastefulness in society simply depressing.
I visited belmarsh prison in south london I believe it was and had you seen the percentage of the somali inmates you wouldnt rush so gloriously to defend the most useless state of Somali young males anywhere in the world...
The lack of ambition is what is most depressing

I went to high school with some british somali guys and I'll tell you this, I never liked being around them at all! they were really immature. They were like the people who turn something fun / joke into something stupid. They also tried too hard to be the "cool guys" which never worked btw.
the UK Xalimos are one of a kind though.

1. These are just some of my musings, please don't crucify me I was just stating my preference.
2. I am well aware of my blanket generalization of UK Faraxs, thanks for stating the obvious.
3. FYI when I read a thread if someone already made a point that I was thinking of making, I just move on to the next thread no point in restating the same point. But then that's just me...
LMAO @ White's and Baasto banter ...brilliant

Specifics shouldn't be presented in making a overall judgement on a general category, not all UK faraxs are like the UK farax you've met

In the UK it is probably more difficult to do better than the US...education is more difficult, career opportunities are scarcer, lifestyle is more expensive...so with this poorer quality of living we wouldn't be as well grounded as our American peers...
Uk Faaraxs in your neck of woods probably got there because familka ayaa dhul taagan, so ofcourse sida ciyaalkay u dhaqmaan..very little responsibility is given to UK faaraxs, we don't even learn a proper second language in school or learn how to use first Aid..., income support keeps the family afloat so we aren't pressured to fend for ourselves...someone like thehappyone probably played with conkers till he was 18 and became a ground steward to pay for his fried chicken and chips...

Essentially, instutional racism, economic eclusion, overcrowded housing, etc.are just a few of impidements facing the uk farah.

How education is difficult or "career opportunities are scarce"?

We study a more difficult curriculum in schools/colleges..we have GCSEs plus the hellish A levels which are completed by the age of 18. If you don't excel in those courses you won't have a chance to go to the top Unis here which are probably less than 20 big Unis or so...the job market is way more saturated plus the US is bigger and has many metropolitan towns. London is our only major financial hub and even with that there is the glass ceiling effect. Heck I can count with my fingers the number of Faaraxs working in the big Four, the Faarax has it hard here

The USA is like x10 bigger than the UK, so Somalis are so much spread out and we assimilate real quick because we are surrounded by Americans.
Where as in Somalis in UK all live in London and never try to branch out or move to other places. So what you have is ghettos, and Somalis in UK only see other Somalis and never come into contact with others.
There is also no upward mobility in UK.
I met couple of Somalis from UK, and they were rude, spoke over you, very bad hygiene (messed up teeth). They also told me they shower like once a week, since u have to put coins in to get water. Maybe that explains why they have a very bad body odor.
They are very violent too (even though they are skinny). One of them threatened to shank me if I looked at him. I had to call the cops on him, and changed apartments.
