Your body can be a collection of bacteria  Not all bacteria are bad. In fact, some are rather good for you..Probiobtics come into play...You need a balance of microbes... These good bacteria to compete with the "bad" bacteria" for attachments sites, nutrients.. They are our friends..

What about Arachnids live on our face  Right now, in the general vicinity of yourr nose, there are at least two species of microscopic mites living in your pores. You would expect scientists to know quite a lot about these animals (given that we share our faces with them), but we don’t.

Yery interesting, and will it make you scratch your face while reading it?

Sulfur, yes definitely. We have bacteria all over our bodies. The problem becomes when skin breaks and the bacteria get in. Alot of ringworms and fungal infections (cambaar) start like that because the surface is so dirty and dusty sometimes. The reason why the belly button is so interesting, is because of the sheer amount of undiscovered species involved. They call it a 'rainforest' lol

And Oh my lord, Creepy pictures.

This reminds me of any one of you Xalimos who let your body go. Belly button galore. I am sure there is a Farax somewhere out there who fancies this hideous image.

You raise a great point Jabuutawi.

I'm concerned about the logistics involved for both parties:

:wtf:

NO, When the skin breaks and the bacteria enters, you get redness, swelling, pain, or pus....and main bacteria that causes that are Streptococcus and Staphylococcus aureus......

Ringworm of the skin is NOT caused by bacteria, but Trichophyton rubrum( what causes athlete's foot too) and fungal infections are obviously caused by microscopic fungus

Bacteria are prokaryotes and completely different from Eukaryotes( Fungus, etc) You must have skipped basic Microbiology

OK, touche'. Let us ante up the stakes. Why don't we all show images of our bellybuttons; authentication by putting one's screen name next to the shot?

Apologies Dr Sulfur . I don't know the jargon involved, prokaryotes, eukaryotes, strep, staph. Doesn't mean I said anything wrong. How else does one get an infection, does the microbe eat down into the skin? Or does breaking the skin through a cut or itching the skin get them in?
When the skin breaks and the bacteria enters, you get redness, swelling, pain, or pus
Is that not an infection? :usure:

Also, I said ringworm and fungal infections - saying that they are both fungal - occur from this fungus on the skin getting in. I actually got ringworm once in the miiye, and that's how it was explained to me. "The germs getting in broken skin". Is that incorrect?

I brought up fungal infections because we were discussing unseen organisms on the skin, not stating they were the same thing.
