I am getting the clarisonic, it's 90 day money back anyway so I'll let you ladies know how it works out. I feel like my face could use a bit of tlc so honey/olive oil over the weekend.
As for style, I avoid patterns for the most part unless it's stripes or simple and feminine floral
Work high waist trouser, not as wide leg as this but close enough:
Plus plain/stripped shirts tucked in just like this with/without rolled sleeves
Casual A:
Casual B:
With a long sleeved top

MissBonita wrote:2nd beauty secret is warm water steeped in lemon and ginger. The benefits are many but I mainly do it for my skin, this mix cleans you from the inside out. I do it first thing in the morning before eating anything and wait about an hour after to eat. Tip: Don't boil the ginger with water, rather crush the ginger to release its juices and let it steep in the water. If you boil the ginger you are basically losing the benefits and ginger essence.
Reporting live from my bed. Happy weekend beauties:)
P.s can you tell I drink a lot of water?
I've got to try this been looking for nice detox recipes.

WARNING!!!!!!!
Clarisonic is absolute crap DO NOT waste your money. It will dry the crap out of your skin and this is coming from someone with oily skin.

You can get it but maybe limit the usage especially if you have sensitive skin. Personally my one just sits in my draw I have no use for it whatsoever.

For skincare, I use St.Ive's apricot scrub (exfoliator), Witch Hazel tonic face wash (very occasionally) and baby lotion as a cream. Night time I use Lush's Sesame paste cream for hydration and I wash it off in the morning. Smells like hummous but skin is left feeling soft, so "meh". For sunny days I use the bodyshop's vitamin-E cream. So far, all's well alxamdulillah. Only issue is dark under-eyes

^ Natural is always best
I am starting a proper hair journey in shaa Allah, and I would like some tips from you lovely ladies. So I discovered that hair has official/numbered types, which was a revelation. Looking online, I found the image below to be clearest on hair types (there are lots, and it goes from 1 - 4 apparently, but somewhere between 2 & 3 are my "numbers" I think).
I've always been annoyed that I can't get those beautiful sexy curls that some detective women on CSI have (yes, them latinas).
Even when wet, it makes these odd corkscrew waves that you just can't categorise. Also my hair is different "numbers" in different parts; the top is probably least wavy (say 2a/b?) and gradually gets more wavy as you go down (bottom is 3a when washed? Based on the above profiles, but I donno).
Anyone have a similar hair structure and what is your care routine? Also, anyone know what treatments/practices best suit Somali hair in general? E.g. does the egg mask actually work? Any other intensive natural treatments you could recommend?

Found a lovely cute Somali sister from London UK on Youtube, how cool is that? So hard t find a Somali person offering advice on public platforms but she's cute and cool, love this video (though it is a repetition of all AA/AC/madow advice videos about hair, but all curly hair has the same basic needs).

Lovely tips from the sister
None of the hair types posted match mine
I've been using avocado, egg yolk and olive oil mask along with inversion method for hair growth for about 3 months now and I sure can tell the difference, its full of moisture and the growth has doubled

Thanks Bella for your comment
When you say that growth had doubled, do you mean the rate of growth or like, your length had doubled in 3 months?!
Btw, I don't use avocado, but instead egg, olive oil, honey & yoghurt, and so far since 2 months is been good, really nourishing. What difference does avocado bring?
Plus egg does NOT make your hair smell eggy how I thought What i do it once a week our fortnightly, with a deep conditioner in between where possible.

YM I mean Rate of growth, normally growing process of my hair is slow.
Avocado is really good, not only does it prevent hair loss but also promotes growth and makes hair shiny.
