The evidence that somaliland Navy is functional and capable is the fact that pirates never operared somaliland waters. somali pirates invaded all those countries. (somalia,kenya,seycheles,oman,mozambique) waters, but not somaliland. how did somaliland prevented pirates from its waters ?

The hight of somali piracy laasqoray was one of mine pirate bases in Somalia ..laaqoray had most notorious pirates who kidnapped boats and even western hostages in their base Laaqoray..
somali piracy is about clans. QABIIL . and the only reason you iSAAQS(SOMALILAND) did not have pirates opareting in berbera and other isaaqs beach towns was that there was no isaaq pirates and it has nothing to do whit wather you hade Coast guards or not.
somali clans who had pirates where this 3 clans, majeerteens.. Warsangelis in laasqoray. and habargedir in xaradheere hobyo... those 3 clans hade burcad badeed... so as i said laasqoray was xarumaha ugu waaweyn e burcad badeedka somalia.

The difference is somaliland army capabilility is something that your hutu brain can not imagine. after those pirates hijacked that boat here is what happened. somalland military and the marines acted very quickly.
1- discovered the boat
2- cuptered all pirates
3- and took control of lasqoray (watch the second clip)
