The names themselves are not offensive but the connotations associated with them are, there's a difference. And the isolation they suffered from no doubt is unjustified and even un-Islamic, however one doesn't have to go as far as to abandon tribes all together, today the Tumaal live among Isaaq in hargeisa and there is no disputation between the two, infact the Tumaal have several stores in Hargeisa in which regular hargeisaawis go in there and purchase from. I already spoke to my 'elders' about this story of the two brothers and one ate the dead flesh, my elders dismissed the stories themselves.

Your zealous emotionalism now leads you to make generalized statements such as other somali clans are the lowest scum of the earth, I take it that you're either from the Midgaan yourself, or you don't mind calling yourself the lowest scums of earth either?

The only city in the entire north was Berbera, so the majority of the Somalis up north back then were nomads/reer miyi/baadiye.

For the most part they're all pretty young. On average men don't get hit with balding till their mid to late 20's.

:meles: Those were men. If you so much as looked at them wrong they would cut your heart out and eat it in front of you. Oh Allah if only I had a few thousand of such men, I could conquer the whole of Africa with them. :(

Now we have xoolo who even pimp their own women to foreigners.

There is nobility in feeling the pain of others and calling an injustice for what it is. As such, I consider myself noble and saved from the associations I didn't choose for myself to the scums in general. Any one with similar views is a noble too. The true Somali nobles. The names of these clans are as offensive as the connotations. I don't know how one can differentiate between the two.

the ORIGINAL carabs actually looked more like us than the false hairy white looking monsters we see today. arabia is a stone's throw from east africa. in the past the carab tribes looked just like the cushtic tribes in the horn.

the adoption of arabic by so many people who are not originally ethnically carab is what makes the modern day carab look so different from us and the carabs of the past.

Walaal, the somalis did not inherit their vast lands with smiles and dhaanto. Today, those lands are slowly shrinking. I am baasto I look like a soft kneegrow.
