I love sheikh Hamza Yusuf, the likes of him is rare in our generation, May Allah protect him in this world, increase his knowledge so that we may benefit from it.. and may Allah reward him in the hereafter with Jannah. What he speaks of here is profoundly true, understood by few and troublesome to ignorant peevish folks.

That last part of his qutba was very emotional for me... "The dua of the drowning man" I felt his sense of desperation, for the ummah, for himself..more specifically about his father and the now diminished 30 years of da'wa. It must be very hard when something so personal as guiding your loved ones to the truth rests not with your well to do intentions, but by the undoing of misguided Muslims.

May Allah accept his prayers.. Aamiin!!
