My grandma is like in her 80s and she's intact almxamdulilah but we play around with her bc as they get older they fall in love with money. So there are two things to divert my granny's attentio and they are money or a conversation abt the news coming out of Somalia that day. She will listen intently and interject.

There are bare biracial folks here in Mogadishu. My neighbour is Russian-Somali. He speaks fluent Af Somali even though his dad is Russian. He told me that at the airport they always mistake him for a Turkish dude and he plays it along to get laughs. There are 2 half Italian siblings that I met in Maka Al Mukarama 6 months ago. They also speak Af Somali.

I have no idea why you assume your brothers are full somalis if they look like a mulatto?

Obviously there must have been some race mixing in the past with your family which is why you have siblings that look like the offspring of a native Somali and Finish woman.

Somalis who think light skin and non-kinky hair are somehow native to Africa always crack me up.
