Strictly Somali:

Xiis
Ayaanle
Cosoble
Shire
Xaashi
Garaad
Dhoore
Barre
Guleed
Warfaa
Sade
Xoosh
Warsame
Awsame
Jeele
Abshir
Sabriye (apparently Turks use this name too)

My favourite ones are Warfaa, Abshir and Guleed! Also Sade & Garaad.

These ones I do not consider as names but 'nicknames':

Dhuxuloow
Cadoow
Ganey
Tarey
Lugoow
etc

These ones are Somali. The rest are Arabic names or bastardised names that originate from Arabic names.

p.s. Xildhid is not a name, sounds more like a nickname.

Faarax comes from the word Farah (happy) in Arabic.

Regards to Ayman I'm sure it is Arabic, if it is Persian then same shit they both Middle Easterner. Yh nothing wrong with Somalised names but the topic is about authentic Somali names.

Now FARAX is really indigenous its derived from ancient Egyptian language derived from farao. There is a big difference between Persian and Arab, two different kind of people with 2 different cultures different languages ethnicity. Its like Saying Somalis and Amharas.

Arabic or Persian they still not Somali. Stop arguing. They are both foreign end of story!

Also it's Faarax not FARAX. And it is a Somalinised name from the word Farah of the Arabic word of Happy. However who knows Faarax might actually be a authentic Somali name. Last time I checked Arabic and Somali both come from the Afro-Asiatic language group so there will be similarities anyways.

You should watch these videos!

p.s. Even ancient Egyptian language is part of the Afro-Asiatic language. :|
