Elite, the point is Somali women should strive to educate themselves instead of being weak and dependant women like the mother in the other video convinced that men are smarter and we're only baby makers.
Let's put things to into perspective. Looking at the place those women are, do you think they have the opportunities to "educate" themselves? There aren't even schools there. No one is denying Somali women to seek education but that is only if it is available. I personally haven't seen Somali girls being told not to attend universities in the west.

I completely agree macaaney.

I can't even lie, being the only female on here trying to empower women, sister to sister, from the possible disasters that can befall women (video is only one example) is emotionally DRAINING.

Dependency is our greatest curse, and many men will exploit that if they can.

Also Adali probably doesn't even have the guts to say this to his imaginary girlfriends, coming on here like that. Ew.

Lol

You're so Boring.

I need to evacuate this thread before you initiate a full blown debate, as at this stage I am not prepared to invest more than one liners.

Audios and onto the next thread.

Dependency is indeed our greatest curse. Not in million years will I be dependent on my man. Over my dead body. And this is what we need to learn our somali sisters. We Somali women in Europe, US and Australia need to learn as much as we can and share our skills and knowledge to somali women and girls in Somalia. We need to help them create oppurtunities for themselves. Inshallah.

i can say oh nice thread, praise you while in agreement with you but naah i don't feel like doing that, why? because if you don’t stand for something, and therefore don’t act in a way.. how could you be a part of something?

its important talking about educating girls, unless you actually upon it, no change can take place.. so next time please tell me what specific steps you're taking to help to bring about much needed change.
