Great...but are you saying Faarax oomaar ashahaadadii boo iloobay Confused

I agree Max'd Axmed Ali was an icon...

Sheikh Bashiir was another great leader but I don't think he shared the same ideology as the mad mullah.

Samat

B.S. Cabdiraxman tuur was nothing with no legacy. You can't compare him to Max'd Axkmed Ali or Igaal..[/quote]

I could say the same for Cigaal his legacy was Riyaale, everybody has their down falls even Ina Cigaal ilaahay ha uu naxariisto.

Samatar,

Is it only your writing skilles when it comes to Somali that suckks or your speaking too. I always think of you as someone who is not well versed in the language, or were you born in London? If that is the case, you are doing a great job but if you grew up in Somalia, you sound like garamgaram

I am very tired, I haven't slept for a day. All my exams were this week plus I had a fifteen minute presentation I just came from right now. I don't really watch my grammar when I write on the internet for the simple fact that I don't care. My written Somalis isn't up to par but hey I taught myself how to write Somali.

PS: If you see me type on saturday nights, I am marqaan.

Samatar,

I want to ask you one question and please do not be offended.

If you have difficulty in writing Somali language, how come you are into mirqaan and stuff. Confused Aren't people who chew kat from Somalia? I thought some one who is raised or born in the west have no idea about the kat and stuff. Shocked

I was born haud, galbeed, zone 5, ogadenia whatever they call it now a days. I left at the age of 5. Any Somali I write I have taught myself.

About the jaad, well thats a long story.

We have very short memory don't we. Cigaal's legacy is way beyond the scope of the recent history of Somaliland.

BTW, there is nothing wrong with Riyaale..he put his neck on the line three times for the sake of Somaliland...not too may politicians in Africa would call for a free election.. He did that not once, not twice but three times. He didn't have to do it....he won my respect.
