@Osman, The level of e-bravado on this site never ceases to amaze.

Leave my fetishes out of this awoowe. Horta who would fantasize about being ordered to get food and being called a female dog? lol

This thread is about being sweet to each other. Be sweet. It makes you more of a man than slapping her bottom and telling her to feed you (in which case you are only a caveman).

Love, do you know what she calls me when I call her 'bitch'? I'll leave it to you to figure it out.

The thing is, not all people are the same, young lady. Some like the silly lovey-dovey endearment terms whereas other show love by calling each other names and slapping each other. Go figure.

What, she calls you Papi or something? lolll

Serious question. Outside the private life, do you still get down and dirty verbally? Would you call her your little ____ when she is studying/cooking/something mundane? When she calls you after a long day to enjoy a good conversation with you? There is a time and a place for everything, and I am only advising that when it's not time for dirty talk (as you described it lol), try throwing in macaaney or something simple.

She will be more than happy to return the sweetness, in that form or others. :)

Ayeeyo, love & relationships are just like drugs; there were days just by looking at her you were over the moon. And then (I don't have to write it down, I am sure you know where I am going with it) to the point where all the conventional methods of "love" don't just tick. Just like the same way a drug addict won't get high from small doses of their shit, that 'macaanow/macaaney' talk just won't do it.

You're young & still have a fresh mind so I don't want corrupt you, well not yet. :)

Words are free and good/nice words are sadaqah, doesn't cost much to keep your man/woman content, wherever she/he is or whatever she/he is doing.

I respect that. But are you confusing love with passion? Passion can and does fade if you are not putting in adequate fuel, and over time it will burn a smaller flame - children, stress and time can do that and it's natural.

But with love - and it's implicit need to be sustained and maintained by both parties - I feel the constant effort from him and her being committed to it can make small things like macaaney equally important as maintaining a healthy and fulfilled sex life.

After years together, the small things would matter that much more. It's when one of the two stops seeing this, that being sweet to each other becomes futile.

Yummy - exactly. It doesn't need a huge discussion. As I put it simply early on, being endearing is so hard for some men, but the payback is wonderful. You already have the lady. Why be stingy on the sweetness because you think your manhood will be in question? :D

After years together
Yeah, says the girl speaking from experience.

Well, I just don't believe in this thing called love (never believed in it). I believe that great passion/good sex life is what keeps couples together when shit hits the fan (yeah, that includes even when they become too old and can't even have sex as memories of those old passionate days they had together will be the glue to hold them together).

Throw away all these Nicholas Sparks novels you keep reading, young lady. That shit only resembles reality when you're young and hormones are playing biological tricks on your mind. In real, grown people world, it's all about passion and sex.

^__^ You have no clue the experience I have in this matter, but that's fine with me.

Not everyone reads romance novels, and my ideals don't come from there. But if you can say you've never even believed in love then I can see where the confusion about this topic is borne.

Passion and sex are important to any relationship. But when the passion dies down, you need your love that you have cultivated over the years to hold it together - this would also increase the likelihood of having marital bliss when you're older no? Or in your case, only memories of great sex lol.

You don't say. Mind to share it with me? Image

If you say that when passion dies down it's love that keeps the fire on, don't you think the opposite is true as well?

Anyway, let's agree to ...........................

Keep your love & I have my passion. ;)

Edit:

OS: Jalaaludiin, did you see what I saw there as well? :steviej:

The opposite is very true as well, you make a valid point. We shall indeed agree to disagree. We are all different. Just call her something sweet once in a while. See what happens is all. :)

And don't hurt your head guys. You specifically said you know my experience in the matter, and I am saying that you do not. C'est la vie.
