From everything that you've said I can see your oblivious to every other races failures apart from your own. You automatically overlook any positive notion that could possibly be achieved by somalis . Nigeria for example is the most corrupt country in Africa, it's people are famous across the world as fraudsters scammers, please don't embrasse your self by using Nigeria as a success story. Also you said africa has thousands of years of history and empires. What about somalia? Ajuuran or the north eastern sultanates that traded with othomans etc. Or the Sayid aka mad mullah, dervishes, ahmed gurey. Etc. Everybody has history just don't undermine yours to boost another mans because its not written in western history books. Making you inferior as they are clearly winning in this case. Also you said somalia has always received aid I can assure you gazza has received aid in the last 60 years, just last few months they got 6 billion and more to come. Somalia gets no where near that money. Somali's aid goes to ngos gaza is directly funded to the rebuilding of infrastructure. Also somalis aren't ugly by a long shot most somalis I know are exceptionally good looking. Btw intelligent individuals don't complain and say we're the worst people on earth they contribute to their country. Question should be what can you do to better somalia?

We are a people who have yet to make a full transition from pastoralism to settled life.
It took most societies hundreds if not thousands of years, and we are going to accomplish this in less than a century.
I have a lot of hope for a peaceful Somalia.

Hmmm Imagine a Grand Project to do exactly that!? It would even change the Somali society and might also perhaps reduce the constant clan fights that are mostly based on land disputes between nomads. You'll notice in Somalia that DM and Jareer communities rarely have this problem.

Exactly, we need a program where nomads rent out their livestock to a ranching company and enter the city. The ranching company shares the profits with the now urban nomads, and manages the livestock on an industrial scale reducing inefficiency.
For example, in Puntland there are over a million nomads, you don't really need that many people to herd livestock.
You just need a few thousand cowboys on horses and pickup trucks to do it way more efficiently. Of course the problem is that this would lead to massive unemployment, so a manufacturing industry must be get going. But it can be accomplished.
