Yes, I am a Xaliimo lesbian rights pioneer, one of the first to come out of the closet. By the way, if you swing that way too, just PM me for good times...

YummyMummy wrote:Euphoria: There's many health risks associated with this though, shouldn't it be a banned substance? We don't yet know the very long-term effects of it (i.e. genetically) because this is happening now (current generation). But we know that much safer substances, including hair-colouring agents, advise pregnant & breastfeeding women not to use them, Clearly these chemicals have untold health risks on mother & child, no?

Jasminder: Fairly certain that Farxiya kabayare didn't bleach herself, but used lots of liquid foundation. Her facebook fan page has lots of recent pics of her and her time in Somalia and she looks normal/maariin.

I didn't even know there were health risks. If there are health risks I don't know why women still do it. Why do something that can harm your health just to be beautiful? I remember watching a documentry on skin bleaching and I know in the UK a lot of skin bleaching creams are banned because of what they do to the skin but I didn't know they could effect your inside. But I did hear it can cause cancer. That is crayyyy!

Somali women love bleaching. Why do they love it so much? Could it be the Bollywood influence?
Remind me of that new without modesty westernized singer called Sabrina.
I remember addressing her bleaching practices and a other user replied she's naturally light-skinned.
How delusional and gullible can Somali people be?

Let's not beat around the bushes, Somali women suffer from big insecurities. Do Somali men endorse bleaching?

It's just a phase, it'll pass. Victorian women used to bleach their faces, ask Lady Basra if you don't believe me.
