Somalia as a client State for many actors is at a crossroad for Islamic ideologically warring countries. On one hand, you have Qatar and Turkey who support the president and his Ikhwan group and on the other, you have the Saudis, U.A.E and Egypt who are against Damul-Jadid and support the Prime-Minister (and everyone else who isn't a member of the President's group). You will see new powerful Islamist groups like the Salafis emerging as a political block soon. The Americans are caught in the middle and don't want to be seen as supporting either group, so they can maintain their alliance with both of these foreign camps and are now insisting on power sharing from both camps. Ideologically, Somali politics has entered into sectarian Islamism, while the public are stuck with tribal identity politics.

I doubt this bc I know the regimes policy

Yeah I heard fahad yasin lobbying for a guy from galkacyo(ali haji) and some of the presidents relatives advising this region but this is radically clashing with the regimes national policies

Why?

Recently there was a political cooperation between yuulka and gaas in the long terms this includes vision2016 (federalism, constitution, next elections to pave the way for gaas coming back to xamar)

On the other hand yuulka becoming a regional president and from now on building their national and diplomatic networks

This is why halane backed by madoobe who fears for his political future and yuulka deals with kenya and PL

Now how its reasionable to remove yuulka and replace him with a true puntlander?

Doesn't work!.
