No law can stop him to hold both positions . There are many loophole in our constitution. I like Cirro's virtues. Most of the IIDOOR are known to have verbal diarrhea + Buufis and qabyaalad. Cirro is different Laakiinse the dude never lay out his vision for the country!! WTF is wrong with him.
I see.

Why does Kulmiye want him to be removed from the speaker seat?

I mean it makes sense in reality he shouldnt really have 2 seats
but
Law states he can.

Also he doesnt seem all that popular mr ciiro

what are his weekness?
I guess there are hidden element in Madaxtooyada driven by emotion.

Just throwing a quick innocent question. Is it against the Somaliland constitution to be an official leader or member of a party while being the head of the parliament? In the U.S the current leader of the house of representatives (parliament) is a member of the rival part of pres. Obama and has opposed Obama policies many times in the parliament. So my question what's wrong if the parliament is a leader of opposition?

I think silyano needs to go, but have no idea who will replace him. I view all older Faqash era politicians should have no place in somaliland. Even if they fought in the snm, their way of thought is dead-on-arrival.

Silyano who has used the RRU on many people including protesters are horrible. Same with the arab spring dictators, who used armed forces. Let the people protest without shooting in the air or in the crowd and dispersing them.

There needs to be a new nationlist party, no tribal affiliation that gives a voice to all SL'ers who support SL. Not just major clans.

We are between a rock and a hard place. With useless old leaders.

^ Jamaal Cali Xusein has potential to be a good president. My only concern is his inexperience in diplomacy & in the military field and his lack of clear policies. But he has a lot of good ideas.

Both groups need to slow down and let cooler heads emerge the government needs to relax if people wish to protest no need to use RRU it was unfortunate to see a young woman losing her life. The government forces are there to protect to people not to scare people. We have fought against repressive regime SNM was all about democracy and equality for all Somalilanders. Having said that Ciiro should have not used his wadani supporters to protect his parliament seat because he became the speaker as an ucid member. All in All Somalilanders need to see thing straight and stop being emotionally involved.

Khalid Ali Cirro is a MP chosen by his people from Go'daweyn district, Sahil. Whether he is WADANI or UCID they have a right to defend
him, they are both opposition parties and the parliament speaker seat belongs to the opposition.

as a garxajis cidagalle man I would be expected to support cirro as im closer tribally but he's a dull dalai lama and an airhead. I hopd cirro can drop out and jamal be the sole, joint opposition candidate in order to have the best chance to dislodge the tyrannical corrupt qudhmiye regime

2quick remarks my brothers . First of all ,doomed is the debate in which Khalid Ali comes out as the more sensible interlocutor . 2/ what makes us who we are is not our ability to avoid having a crisis but the way we fix it .Asalama aleikum ,proud of you all .

Cirro I have zero knowledge of. He seems extremely quiet man, that's my personal take

hoobariiska

salaan my brother how are you firstly

imo cirro is no better than senile siilanyo as he would do what silanyo does e.g hand power to clique behind the scene, work for his own tol, sell out somaliland independence, be repressive etc

the h/yonis - h/jeclo handbags pantomime is not what somaliland needs nor cares for very pathetic

he used to be qudhmiye's puppet by conspiring against fellow oppositionists ucid making regime sleep easier until recently
