I tried that once (out of necessity as I didn't have a frying ban then) and it comes out amazing, runtii. Also don't forget, the oil-fried sambusa's are full of very unhealthy fats.

^ Really? Constantly dropping religious phrases & words in a cooking show aint a put-off? Come on, ladies! I thought there were enough sermons and religious lectures on YouTube for that. Starting with 'Bismillah' and & those appropriate & timely 'Insha Allahs' are alright but when you drop them in after every 2 or 3 sentences then that's just beyond cheesiness.

But this being Somalinet & myself being non-religious I can see where the clash is coming from. You guys bookmark Alla Kheerto's channel & I'll enjoy Cooking with Hafza & Xawaash SomaliFoodBlog's channels. Image

What is wrong with dropping Islamic phrases? isn't she Muslim? what's the big deal?

Twist I sometimes worry about you.

I've had baked Sambusa, it's so delicious.

Why didn't she take off her ring? it's very unhygienic, people shouldn't have rings or long nails when dealing with food. Image

lol Twist awoowe, I know you are not religous. Not all of us are, but you strive to be the best Muslim you can. And some of us just don't care, fine, no judgements.

But seeing someone who is religious is not cheesy, and she shouldn't be called a hypocrite for that, nor does it interfere with her cooking loll

Yummy get all Mummy and Mumsy on us!

Agreed @ long nails. But I like seeing the ring. Image

I like anything revolving around marriage and repping it.. Now THAT can be called cheese Twist Image

Jul, that's because I am not a religious person. And about dropping the religious phrases, I pointed that out in the previous post.

Evol, I didn't call her a hypocrite but pointed out how the way she talks while cooking is a put-off for me. What are you girls now, the unappointed spokeswomen for everyone? Image
