I hate to generalize but it is no secret that men from the Indian subcontinent are by far the worst when it comes to wife abuse. It is ingrained in their culture where beating up woman is quite normal and is not even considered a crime.

A Xaliimo acquaintance of mine was unfortunate enough to marry A Pakistani guy from Kashmir. She used to complained how badly this scumbag treated her, abusing her both physically and mentally.. But despite us entreating her repeatedly to at once leave the damn guy, she could never stay away and always kept going back to him after few days.

I don't know whatever became of this Xaliimo for she moved with her abusive husband to another province, but I sure do hope she finally mustered enough courage to leave the sick bastard and has not become, as may be the case, another statistical figure in the countless abused women murdered every year by their husbands/boyfriends..
