The discrimination, awoowe, the antagonizing discrimination we have to deal with and put up with daily is unprecedented. And all of that because it's what nature intended. It is not like it's our fault to be bald or that we asked for it. Not fair! It's time all the brothers in bald stand up in the face of this aggression and human rights violation.

I hope to God the first chick was being sarcastic. If she was serious, girlfriend needs a mirror and a reality check.

Twist: Are you really bald headed? if you are, you have two options, have a banging, hardcore body, or be really funny. Image

Bella,
I did not watch the whole video but I noticed the following;
-none of them said " kii uu ilaahey ii calfo"
-The notion of colour being a marker of handsomeness/beauty; nin cad, maarin, faruuro cad etc. Yes, there was one who said nin sideeyda u eg(read maddow).
- None of them mentioned education. This was a big issue for the older generation. Nin wax bartay oo caqli leh ayaan rabaa was the key.

These are probably generation internet; generation riwaayad raqiis ah.

BTW, what is the dooq of Somalinet's Xaawaley?

Within a decade or so I am there. And knowing that I am your typical Faarax (skinny legs with beer belly), thanks for making me depressed already.

Lam, Jul & myself can never get along well. We're like fire & benzene (dab iyo banziin lol). I want turn her heels over her head and force her to be submissive and she wants to wear the pants and be the dominant one. There will be a constant power struggle there, sxb.

Yes, I agree with you JaalleMarx. Wants over needs will not lead to happy outcome.
Most Somali females go for the xarago type. Looks aren't that important in selecting a lifetime partner, what's the point when it fades in the end?
Somalida meel loga baxsado malahan, if you are realistic and want to lead a simple life you will be dubbed as the faarax pleaser type.
If a candidate has the following qualities, he is good to go Image

*Has strong Imaan
*Great personality
*Is committed
*Family orientated
*Understanding person / down to earth / knows when to be serious and when to have fun
*Has knowledge and can put it into use. / not stacks of degrees which are useless
*Has career goal / objective
*Financially stable (necessarily not loaded) but enough to get through each day
*There is age requirement for me; at least 8+ years older than moi (No judging on this one please)

I did not mention good looks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Image

At the end of the day he might lack some of the above, no one is perfect lakin hadi lays af garto wax waa lays laa wadaagi kara. That's where the teamwork kicks in Image

I think you using the wrong strategy saaxib. You are adopting a soft mugdi mudug approach on someone who probably tasted the holy waters of Berdacad. Try, the trademark of Aw Maki; ask her; gormaad kugu dambeeysay madaxaaga oo biyo kulul lagu shubay? Bidaarta waa temporary ku dheh. Haddii la leefo tin ayaa ka soo baxeeysaa. etc.

Haddii kale, use the real strategy; keyword; naayaa, islaan yahay, naa yarta, naa heedhe. etc

Good points Bella; but at the end of the day, marriage (which is the ultimate goal of somalis) is to quote Forest Gump, like a box of chocolate. You don't know what you are getting.

There is always disappointment in the first phase of somali marriages; when the hormones are muted, reality strikes. I think education is the key; an educated man or woman is always beautiful. Appearance is a short term issue; sooner or later, beautiful ppl turn ugly. I blv most of the times, it is desire (short term) that dictates dreams....

True walaal, the whole marriage thing is ku nasiibso somaha and education is definitely the key to success.
