I was in the Hawd last summer where the reer miyi are living like their ancestors were living hundreds of years ago. Their life is not formed by Islam but the code that was passed down to them from generation to generation, the code that connects them to the nature they live in and it creates a sense of coherence despite the region being the wild wild west where Kalashnikovs and heavy machine guns mounted on technicals have replaced the shield and the spear. Meanwhile in the west you have people whose entire lives are dictated by a false perception of righteousness and this perception is based on fundamentalist beliefs, mainly wahabism and the false notion of one ''muslim ummah''. Zoomali xoolos have not realized this and their children are leaving the comfort and their peaceful lives for sectarian conflicts in the Middle East.
We have a generation of Wadaad and Wadaadettes with ridiculous names, using few arabic words here and there to make to themselves look enlighetened when they don't have formal educations and even worse, can't provide for their children so they're living on welfare and handouts from the same gaal they despise. That reer miyi who might not know how to read and write, who don't pray will honor agreements, he won't lie, nor curse and he won't use unneccassary violence for a cause that doesn't concern him and he provides for his family and he helps his fellow man when nature allows him to.

It was Our dear and beloved member Yummy who degraded me when I predicted these little girl's national shame they have embarked on. I actually predicted how they would be used as sex comforts just like the Japanese conquerors did to the Koreans and Chinese... Even worse I predicted and will predict that these girl's will at the end be captured by the Iraqi forces and they will be gang raped into oblivion...runtii ciyaalkan nolol ismey arag when shit hits the fan is when they will cry for dear hooyo and their easy life in their western country...the mistake their parents made was to take them to Somalia for a summer so that they can witness abject poverty but instead they bombarded them with extremist ideology in their little minds ( father is reputed to be a very conservative person). I believe religion should be applied to kids like movies come with that caution, different age for different appropriation, naah a fundamentalist parents lose all their common sense when they are obsorbed by religious fervor

Geo,
Yes huuno, there are many, many parents that live in the UK and North America that don't have a clue on how a computer functions... I am not just saying it, it is a fact..I saw them with my own eyes... Even people who you would assume had a formal education don't know how the computer operates..I have a friend who graduated from high school back in Somalia who don't deal with computers at all..She can't even have an e'mail address.

Menace has a good valid point. The eldest son of this family joined Alshabab to decapitate poor Somalis, that should have been a warning and a red flag for any family who don't believe in these lunatics. But the two eldest twin daughters embarked on a similar journey of their own and joined these people in Syria. Reerkani caadi ma aha.

Who "LOOL" about the death of her husband and brother in law? The way people like these twin think leave me baffled.JaalleMarx wrote:I fail to understand how two relatively bright girls fall for wahabist propaganda. Where were their parents? Parental failure. The somali parents in the diaspora leave their kids to the mercy of technology (Internet/TV) and think that their kids are taught islam when they visit mosques.

Areey dey waa summerain (roobka guga). Where have you been inadeer?
I think our community has a huge problem. We have abandoned our institutions. The parents have outsourced their responsbilities. The cancer of wahabism has spread into the brains of our people. The parents are either at fadhi-ku-dirirs, attending some kind of pseudo celebrations or watching TV instead of parenting.
Our morals have decayed.
Kambuli, reading/writing is not the issue inadeer. The issue is the failure of parenting in combination with embracing wahabism. Where did our faith go? Whatever happened to our noble islaanimo?
P.s. I was told that there was also this blind guy from Holland who was fighting in Mosul, Iraq.

Salaam dear! All is well. Just been busy with life. I hope you are in the best form of health and happiness aboowe.
I agree with you. There is definite breakdown in many aspects of our social structure and that has contributed greatly of many of the issues we face today. It's infact overwhelming, I don't even know where to start. Lol

WTF!Zahra tweeted: “My twin sister husband got shahadah too the same time as mine LOOL we both made hijrah (migration) together now both iddah (widows) together too.
“So right now!? Like right, right now! My husband is probably with his hoor al ayns (virgins)?
If not mistaken, one of the husbands was a sanguududi from Nigeria.
