Brief History: This area is not officially part of Shinile Zone, an area the size of South Carolina, but a separate land owned by Ciise. The Afars and their masters Amhara forcibly took away from Ciise back in the 12th century. Ciise reclaimed it in the 1990s and still own it with or without fat Arabs coming to farm the region.
