It's an absolute disgrace wallahi.
The locals get paid like $100,000 for doing basic data entry or filing gov documents and they let the foreigners do all the hard work.
It's the curse of having abundant oil. All this cheap money flying around ruined their work ethic.
Same thing for Norwegians as well. They are known for being lazy compared to other Scandinavians. But not as bad as the Gulf Arabs these guys wont lift a finger.

My time in Dubai last month was really smooth. I went to the business class lane, which is only for Americans I am told . I waited about 3 mins before I was called.
ME : Al-salamu Alaykum
Lady : Wacaykum al-salaam ya akhi
Me : gives the passport
Lady : takes about one minute to stamp my passport and takes a picture of me and she says Marhaban fil imaaraat.
That was the last time I seen an Arab person. Everywhere I go even in the malls I run into Indian, Indonesian , Malaysians and Some Somalis in gold souk

You don't see arabs bc your at rubbish places!
There r two sorts of work in the UAE, highly paid public sector and low paid private sector
Work at the govt is seen as prestigious specially those who want to get married while they look down to those who work in the private sector
Dubai economy is based on stock market/investements/service and its a free trade area for multi-national compannies
These foreigners work for the local and small companies
Half of them r indians, followed by bakistans, whites, foreing arabs and few lazy local arabs as the work at the govt is too strict.
They don't even need job as any one who graduates and hasn't find job gets paid!

These Arab bastards (god knows how I despise them) are on a borrowed time...what they have is not through sheer innovation but a complete luck and that luck is already predicted to melt soon

It is not only the Arabs who has fallen, every muslim nation has fallen. It is not the Arabs who built Andalus, places today know as Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, east Africa etc, infact it was the non-Arab muslims. See, We found cure for diseases, built surgical tools, lens, watches and even the first idea on flying came from a muslim because they saw that there is no difference between an Arab or non-Arab except in taqwa. for eg. in andalus there were Jews and christian scientist because Islam teaches us to live in harmony side by side. We lost Islam therefore we lost our identity/honour.

I can't understand why this thread has turned into bash the Arabs. How do we Somalis fare better than Arabs? If you ask any human to rate Dubai and any Somali city, what will you expect the verdict to be? If you ask any human who has lived in any Somali city and Dubai to compare the two, what will their verdict be? Here in Somalinet the theme is, one person starts a thread, 3 posts reply negatively, then the herd follow that theme. Before you belittle, generalise and stereotype 350 million Arabs, look at yourself in the mirror first. Somalida waxay ku maah maahdaa, daayeerka dabadiisa gaduudan ma arkee, tan kale buu ku qoslaa.

Emirats get better wages than the westreners in the west and inside the UAE!
A graduated Emirati and soldiers will start at 10,000 per month
There r professionalists who got $50,000 plus sevice
Better than the US and most of the west in per capita income
They have local massive companies in the private sector
This project abu dhabi 2030-in 20 years- was carried by the local companies with the hepl of the state
This people r in absolute nicmo specially in abu dhabi
Dubais non-oil foreing trade is $360 bn, let alone the servece, investment and the stock market
All the gulf peoples money specially the fat qatarians goes to dubai instead of their state!
