You are totally right. We have nothing to do with them. Not even a Tanzanian really has anything to do with these Black-Americans. They have nothing in common at all and they shouldn't even be categorized under the same umbrella.

The only reason why people use the term "Black" in America is because these African-Americans don't know their own history, language, or culture. It was stolen from them during the times of slavery when their ancestors were kidnapped from West Africa. They wouldn't even recognize their mother tongue if they heard it. And since they can't exactly pinpoint who they are, they just categorize themselves as "Black" to compensate for their tragic history.

You'll never see Japanese, Chinese, Indonesians, Thai, Burmese, and Malaysians all holding hands and saying "We are part of the Yellow People! Yellow Pride all day!"

I don't give a fuck about Black-Americans or this Afrocentric nonsense. I care about my Somali people.

I normally don't tend to agree with your posts about race ...since i find them extremely racist but that right there is some quality post.

Categorisation of people based on colour has always struck me as ..very infantile! Something a little toddler would do {Mummy look! banana yellooow, Daddy look sky blue!}. It's beyond comprehension that a major chunk of the human population have swallowed this nonsense wholesale. We are grown adults who have countries, ethncities, cultures..so we should be refered to as that.

The only "Africans" who are afrocentric, are the African-American Sociology Professors with a limited knowledge of Africa....the Professors who spout ridiculous falsehoods about the continent and get away with it. These Professors can only speak English, they don't know a single African language and probably have never even visited the continent. So they have this unrealistic view of the continent as if we're all the same and that we're all "brothers" and they goes off based on that.

That's why you see African-Americans talking about the Ethiopian and Somali Empire, as if it has anything to do with them. That's why you see them claim Ancient Egypt even though the Ancient Egyptians were from the Nile Valley and Sudan, and they were not from West Africa. Some of them even claim Morocco and Algeria as their own, simply because those two nations lie within the African continent.

It doesn't stop. And it's because of their lack of knowledge on the real dynamics of Africa.
