Barbarossa... Baardheere has farms as far as the eye can see and the locals work them. There is a reason Al Shabaab went straight there - they could get taxes because businesses was flourishing. It could easily look like a desert like Tana river but it doesn't because people plant trees on their land (talaal) and have farms too. They grow bananas, limes, papaya, courgette, melons, corn,onions, tomatoes, tobacco and even nuts. The market there is barwaaqo...you won't believe that there was an insurgency/gaalo armies if you looked at what they produced. They have so many people working so you need to take that back. PS - I dare you to have the guts they have to not tahriib themselves and instead stay and work regardless of the political instability.
