I was standing outside on the corner of my neighborhood waiting angrily for my sisters when a white car pulled across the street from me. This white guy comes out and starts crossing the streets towards me. I panicked and turned to run, and when I looked back the man was running after me. Luckily everyone was outside in the center of the neighbourhood and the neighbourhood moms were outside drinking beer when they saw me running and screaming. The guy was stopped by the ladies and he claimed that he was looking for his lost bike and wanted to ask me about it.
Yeah right!
He said he was looking for his lost bike?! What a f-king joke! So according to him you have to chase a young child under the age of ten to bring about your chances of finding your lost bike?
When I was 14 my younger brother and I nearly got kidnapped in Kenya when I was visiting my family in Nairobi.
As I begin looking through the crowd, I notice a madow man point at us, make eye contact with someone a few yards then stare back at me. The second guy then points at someone else, and before I knew it, I had four different people making eye contact with me, all moving in our direction. My brother must have noticed their predator-like behavior too, because when I looked down at him, he looked back at me with sheer terror in his eyes. I grabbed my brother by the arm and began to quickly walk. I looked back and noticed the four men and they picked up their pace and were gaining on us. I frantically begin sprinting with my brother in tow and somehow find a small display for us to duck behind. We crouch behind this small display as we watched two of the men search for us. After several long minutes, we no longer see any of them, but instead spot a family member a distance away and quickly dart to safety with them.
Never really fought them or anything but it still scared the shit out of me.
Stay safe everyone!
