That ship sailed long ago. The world will move forward, and its route won't be through such outdated and simplistic ideas as "cutting immigration." Just to remind you: Most of those who are taking up arms and shooting their fellow countrymen and women (not to mention joining shit headed cults) are second or third generation......Cutting immigration would have no effect at all on this, except possibly to encourage more deluded creeps to join the cause.

So, the 3rd gen are made continually worse by the 1st gen. Cutting off the 1st gen won't fix the 3rd gen. But it sure helps. This Omar dude was influenced by some crazy 1st gen imam in prison.
