As long as the internet exists, there will always be trolls. Just need to make it less hospitable for them so that their trolling antics become more sophisticated (see what i did there), more sarcasm than out right vulgarity.

Re: Does Snet need to change?
Thugonomics I'm certain its not too highbrow, bro. There are many intelligent and thought provoking members that have much to say.
Osman That's true we have a vision. Plenty of Somali organizations do. Can we align our strategic plan with an action plan and get the ball rolling (without losing momentum). Implementation takes a while. Patience is a virtue and I think Somalis we have enough of it. Although, when a Somali says to be continued for a movie or project you wonder when and if it will be completed.
Lamagoodle I left the floor open for discussion. I didn't want to interject and influence the direction of the conversation. You need not worry since you are a gem. We notice your contribution(s) and those of other remarkable members. I think the volume of unpleasant topics can sometimes takes away from the 'good' that we see.
GeoSeven Hmmm...beefing up security or utilizing our resources (personal power) to police ourselves? Absolute autonomy is dangerous (look at topix it went down like the titanic), it must be accompanied with accountability/responsibility (on snet it is for some part, but there are various exceptions). I wonder how much freedom is too much freedom. Where do we draw the line? Since Lamagoodle said its kind of open season.
AgentofChaos - A purge you say?
Jeff0 - Should we also look inside of ourselves too? Instead of combing the mirror and focusing on externalities, you're right perhaps we must just look inside.

YummyMummy – There is a natural inclination for individuals to generalize. It compartmentalizes information very neatly.
We understand these forums aren't a reflection of Somalis ‘on the whole’ (I hope) but others (outside our community)
aren't as forgiving as we are. People are always watching, some have not even met Somalis in real life. They aren't all critical thinkers.
Niya- bless your soul. If trolls had their own private group they would die of boredom.

Abkeey wa dhibaato if this forum is a "wider" reflections on the general Somali public.
It is full of extreme tribalism, racism, xenphobists, extreme misognist and in general all sorts of extreme. Finding balance in here, is finding the occasional sanity. Wa wareer aan caadi aheen.
I don't know if it is trolling or not. But anywho, in real life faraaxs will go down for "hate speech" if they dare to project their nonsense, heck it will push the family to arrange an emergency quraan-saar, see wa?
If they are looking for shock factors, they win easily! Did you lot not see what puntite wrote?

I was so tempted to troll this thread of sanity but brother you beat me to it!
Re: Does Snet need to change?
Seriously though, diversity is the life and soul of Somalinet! I will confess that I am fond of making the occasional crude joke but shit can't always be serious. It is an escapism after all.

Ok guys, what will you do to me after such a blatant troll attempt.
We can only implement change through practice.
Veiled, did you even bother to report me or did you sit there thinking of a witty retort.

No macaan, I rarely bother with that. Is that what you want to be banned? You'll only comeback under proxy with your other username. I can only advise you to get help with you school work and homework through tuition
