I love my country more than any of you. That's why I'm not wearing rose-tinted glasses. Bosaso is a shitheap like evry other Somali "city" and thy only reason he posted this is to start another qabyaalad fueled ceeb-measuring contest. It's funny how all these tuulos are so beautifula and brilliant that 99% of the people on this foum have never even visited, never mind lie there. This was not addressed to you 1man, at least you are putting your money where your mouth is and actually helping Somalia. I shall be doing that soon as well, inshallah.

I rather live a simple life in the baadiyo than in a dusty slum with no sewage system.

In terms of development Djibouti, Mogadishu and Hargeisa are at the top.
In terms of income per capita Djibouti is at the top followed closely by Bosaso.

Why can't you wish development for all Somali cities? What is with the competition? Last time I checked Bosaso and Mogadishu are all part of Somalia and are considered a Somali city by non-Somalis. This uncivilised competition between Somalis is why we are a failed country....go compete with other nations instead of your fellow Somali. This goes out to all Somalis, wake up!
Inshallah ALL Somali towns will be among the top 10 African cities in the near future. We want a modern country, where all corners of the country is fully developed including other Somali regions such as Djibouti, NFD and Somali Galbeed.

Sxb i'm realist. Other than Xamar no other somali city will have real significant progress. Xaqiiqada jirta waaye. People have to accept that fact. Anigaba waan rabilahaay in magaalada aan ka soo jeedo Godinlabe noqoto magaalada ugu horumarsan soomaliya laakiin ma noqoneyso.

I do not consider that as realism bur rather defeatism. With peace and prosperity, all Somali cities will develop regardless of the population size. We don't want to become a country where only the capital city is developed. We want to become like the developed world where they have the best transportation systems, equal wealth, best cities and technological progression.
It is usually poor countries that have average capital cities, and no significant other cities. Somalia with it's resources, which most of them found outside of the capital can transform the whole country, let alone the capital.
What is special about Somalia, if only the capital city is the only developed city?

All somali cities share resemblance, lack of development, dusty roads, tangled wires above streets, tin-foil roofs, and no city-planning.
