LilEmp
I regard faith in itself a huge blessing, hence why I don't see trouble or burden in performing Salah or developing OCD b/c of it.

Do you mind telling us what that was?

1) start going to the masjid to pray, make an effort to go to the masjid atleast once a day to pray. This effort will carry into all the other salats.
2) surround yourself with others that pray
3) plan your day around salat, i.e instead of saying let's meet up at 6, meet up after maghrib. That way your salat is always on your mind.
4) read quran, when you get closer to the book of Allah, your prayer will also benefit
5) leave your sins behind. Your ibada increases when you leave sin
6) Think of death, and know that Allah is watching you at all times

Living in Somalia is a blessing. You can't miss a prayer when everyone in your household prays and you keep hearing athan constantly throughout the day.

The only salat I miss the most is fajr, I get lazy after changing oil at night and I dread showering early in the morning.

I feel guilty each morning.

Same here sxb, It is a struggle, I always found it easy to pray all consistently back home, but over here it's a challenge and so there is more ajar.

The days where I pray all five, wallahi I feel like I climbed the top of Mt Everest, and @gambit, I know what you feel sxb, the guilt is good but despair is wrong, look at the mercy of Allah and how he constantly gives us more chances to come back stronger and stronger, the key is to never give up.

Doing 5 prayers isn't hard. Dedicating 5 minutes is easy. If you can't do it it means you don't want to do it
