Isaaqs make up between 70% and 85% of the population. With the absence of a proper census
I am relying on colonial population surveys, the 1975 Somali census (which is pretty reliable)
and the election results of Somaliland in 1959 which were along clear clan lines.
Wherever the Isaaq end up (recognition or not) the whole of Somaliland and all its
territory will be beholden to us. The "unionist" clans just do not have the numbers to challenge us
