LOL. Talyaaniga hadaad tagtid waad yaabeeysaa saaxib. Jiiro kastaba duq ilkihii daadiyey oo calool weyn unbaa mid yar ku dhegan.

I have also met some somali women/men who date/marry middle class men/women but that is rare. Most somalis I have seen marry trash.

Osman, I have noted that problem. It will be fixed.

True. Wasn't if Sigmund Freud who wrote that the conscious mind is comparable to a fountain playing in the sun and falling back into the great subterranean pool of subconscious?

Nice quote. Subconsciously the tattooed and misshapen man felt you were an existential threat to him. He marked his territory with his tawdry display of affection and utterance of a few Somali words. My guess is you felt a bit of revulsion at the thought of him taking one of "our" girls. However, if he cut her loose she would not even get a passing glance from you. :?

Sophisticate, you could argue that. I think it is human behaviour. I looked for them at the airport after that encounter. Wanted to buy them a drink and tell them about human rational/irrelational behaviour.

I think it was his behaviour. He clutched her buttocks as if to mock me and my somali side which I have been suppressing but, which at that particular moment, appreared subconsciously.

Lamagoodlow, of course he clutched her buttocks to mock you while thinking to himself, "Yes, Farax, this is Xaliimo and one of yours and here I am clutching her buttocks right in front of you and there is nothing you can do about it." Tell me the truth, you were furious and dying from inside, sxb.

It shows that u care. But nothing wrong with choosing to pretend you didn't see her. She is an adult, it's her life.

LOL Osman

Anigaba daba tuujiska naagaha ajanabiga iguma yara saaxib. I think many men (not many admit though) love that. It is like drawing a line in the sand, turf; my territory. But, maybe again subconsciously it was the theory that a somali woman will never allow a somali man to clutch it in public. Naagaha soomaalidda xataa hadaad is qabtaa affection ma oggola; probably kab ayaay kula dhaceeysaa

Farhanyare, yes she has every right to do as she wishes. It was that kind of thing that you realise upon reflection was wrong.

The very first time (and probably the only one, as I live in a small city with small Somali community) I saw a Somali female with an ajnabi guy was back in 2008 when I was visiting my cousins in Ottawa. We were a group of Somalis in a cafe and then came a white guy with his Xaliimo and if only you saw the look she gave us (coz all the Faaraxs with me turned at the same time and gave her a dirty look). lol I only heard and read about such stuff before that time and that was the first and only time I witnessed it with my own eyes so it kinda felt weird. Well, I am a FOB so I am excused, I hope.

Osmanow, if you travel as I do, waxba badan baad arki. There is something that repulses our women in a non-somali context; clubs, parties etc. Chances are that if that cadaan guy in my story was a somali, she would never allow him to grab her buttocks.

It's kinda contradictory though, innit? Those things might repulse them but only if their partners are Somali but if they're ajnabi then it's all good.

Well, the direction this chit chat is heading I think we might be accused of being two old and bitter Faaraxs so we are better off toning it down, mate. lol

Nagaha filipinka oday cadaan baqti rabo gurso waan la yabi jiray but it is a case aan kugu meel garo odayga xoolahis ayada daxleeyso. Why can't xalimos married ajnabi have that mindset?
