1. Burco and Berbera are not puntland.
2. Yes the entire puntland desert recieves the least amount of rain in the somali peninsula.
3. Burco is far from a desert. The togdeer river flows thought it. Even though it dries up during the dry season. Burco recieves enough rain.
Berbera on the other hand is a desert, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees during the summer.

Hargeisa is built on top of hills, and it has enough water, there is a river that splits the city. So its far from a desert. And Burco is built on a flat Savannah land that has a river that cuts through the city.
