The above names are not exclusive to the Triangle. Never saw a spelling of Samantar outside of somalinet and Hirsi/Hersi is a common name. Try harder to find something that makes you a separate non-Konfurian entity!

I think a lot of the variations in names, like many other socio-cultural differences in Somalia, can be attributed to the geel-jire/beeralay/original reer magaal divide. For example Mareexaan geeljires in Gedo will share many of the same names with geeljires from togdheer, and not many names with agrarian communities who lives a few kilometers away.

I think from mudug up to north they have more nomadic original names

Hiiraan is abit diversity, the north westren side is not like the east and yuu will find there names that are found in somali galbeed too such as ulaax and the south west/qoraxsin such as buloburde is totally different, not a hawiye accent at all, its more closer to banadiri but this dialect originally belonged to ajuran. For example they don't say habeenkii rather would say haweenkii. East has hawiye accent similar to murursade. Its not based on clan/subclan just deegaan

Generally speaking the southern names have been influenced by the religious, urbanic and banadiri names specially their suffix such as hebeloow

You only use it for the word xeroow bc its a religion term wich shows having originated in the south.

Lol its my subclan not all hiiraan. We have names like jaaburi, mohamed amiin, fatna(common in sudan) not fadumo, tayib, qasim, jalaal-my greater ancestor-

The reason is bc we were typical sufis who who care about the prophet and the mowlid al nabawi

Khalid you got to learn hiiraan we r very diverse and not all of us the typical cali madaxweyne

Back in the old days, only the married somali woman was covering her head, most of hawadle were like that except my subclan, they use to wear hijab

They also know the quran just like the men while this was not common in the other clans including the rest of hawadle

They also know the arabic grammar like my grandmother! How? Marka ee kasha tumooyaan ma aqriyaan hees instead waxee dhahahaan; mafcoul bihi waaye jug jug, mansoub waaye, jug jug, marfouc waaye

Theses names: Caynab, Hilowle, Raaghe, Maalin, Kediye are not exclusive to Mudulood.

Calasoow = Calas minor difference.
