You have issues... they are just decent names. Arabic names sound even worse than Somali names with all those Zs & Khs.
The thing is Somalis need to come up with new names. We only have about 40 or so ethic Somali names and they are outdated.

What's so ugly about Awale, Guleed, Samatar, Dalmar, Dirshe etc... sounds much better than shit Arabic names.
I agree  .

I want my children to have Somali names. If I ever give them Arabic names it will be naming them after the Sahabah (Ali, Umar, Hamza, etc.)

But that would be about it. Somali names all the way

I love the name Garaad. I know it's a title but it can be used as a name, like Suldaan.

Srsly euph have some pride. Somali names are far superior to random Arab names with nothing to do with islam. My fav names are somali. Especially the girls names. IDil=complete. Istaah il= worthy. Barwaqo = prosperity. Ismahan = ?? Sagal=morning star. Sabad= ??

 @ Abdi Messi

Somalis are notorious for giving out ironic nicknames so I'd call him Abdi Heskey

Qawdhan
Hanad
Caraale

Samaale :whew: My future son's name inshallah.

@Euphoria, why don't you let your arab baby-daddy decide what the name of the child is gonna be?
