Here is what you need:
Download an app called Headspace, it is the best app for meditation that I have come across, and it really is a great way to start mindfulness. You start with 10 min per day for 10 days, then go up to 15 min for 15 days and then 20 for 20, its gradual and within the first session you should feel the benefits of meditation. I highly recommend it.

I don't know why these Maryooleys are beating around the bushes when the answer is right there in front of them.

Below are some of the best 'meditation' I've had..
Not in order.
1. Sitting in a room with Qu'ran playing
2. In the miyi.. with no other human around
3. In Mecca super doper early on a balcony

I discovered meditation after trying to self-hypnotize back in my teen years
I laid down in a dark room and kept repeating "empty your mind" and "you're getting sleepy" in my head until I found myself feeling like I was floating and somehow sinking at the same time. I felt lowkey high af and had what can only be described as a near out of body experience, so you can imagine I was scared to death.
Since then, I can replicate that feeling/state almost at will.

Lakin I spent most of that exercise deciding on a colour so only advice is have that debate before you get started. Warm yellow and orange glows are always good I suppose but I was trying to be different. I actually decided on picturing a rainbow
Like I said, pick the colour first

lol, I'm pretty bad at committing, even coming with a color wouldn't make me think twice

Bro, I can't even step into the bathroom if the lights are off.

Only one of them is realistic

I've started meditating few months ago because i felt so stressed out and didt get much sleep at nights.First i take a long walk in the woods all alone...the silence calms me down.Sometimes i just sitt there surounded by all trees and just focus on being positive.Walaahi the impact it had on my life is amazing.I sleep better, i cut off all pple who doesnt bring nothing but headache in my life.I cherish my family, my friends and my distans relatives and have stopped taking them for granted.Islamic meditation is the best.Ther're blenty of videos on youtube..watch them.
Qoraanka badso wuu ku qaboojinaya.
