Men don't care about age as long as their sexual desires are met. She can be old, young, fat, skinny, short , tall, educated or not. When it comes to hooking up or just dating. For marriage they prefer younger females for numerous reasons. Women on the other hand prefer older men because they want to feel a sense of security. Because this phenomenon isn't real. No man actually prefers older women. These studies are giving these oldies hope.

Are you speaking for Somali men? Or men in general? If they are in their 20s, they aren't bothered by the age gap since they are still young and virile. It's the hair-thinning 30s when they realize they are aging, and would prefer something on the younger side as an ego-extension.

I think this is contingent on life stage. A man in his 20s will not be as concerned as a man in his 30s about a woman that is older than him, a couple years. However, I see how a younger female would be a more preferable choice if you are thinking of length of reproductive life, fewer health complications at birth, greater time allotted for pregnancy spacing etc. I’m sure there are many other conferrable advantages.
