I'm not very familiar with the situation but what's with the notion that Ali Abdallah Salah is just trying to recapture power?

Ali Abdullah Saleh and Houthis are both Zaidi Shias, ........... connect the dots.

Machievelli, are you sure saaxib?

Ali Abdalla fought them before. They are aligned now.

My sources tell me that he in Eriteria; could be also in Djibouti (Hadi)

Well army units loyal to Ali Abdallah Salah are supporting the Houthi's that part isn't disputable. The real question is, this a real uprising of Houthi's or just a ploy by Salah to regain power?

Lama

Haa Ina adeer, the name Houthi came from a Houthi leader/family who was killed by Ali Abadallah Saleh but they are all Zaidi Shias.

Aden is difficult to capture. The situation is not black and white; it is not shia vs sunnis. It is about the north-south; clan dynamics and also the former president has a hand in all this.
You got it sxb. Shia vs sunni is western term. Ali Abdallah salah hails from the largest tribe and has hand with Houthi

Shirib, it is a complex matter. The losers in all this is the USA; it supplied weapons which are now in the hands of the rebels.

I think Ali Abdalla Saleh will be the new president with the help of the rebels. But, the south could be lost; a new partition. The rebels know that they cannot hold power; it remains a shia rebel group in a country with a majority sunni.

The events are moving quickly; there is a complex clan structure; there is also a religious dimension, a class dimension; a south-north issue etc

Machiavelli; you are right. He is a Zaydi.

Let us pray that there is peace in Yemen.

This is like Ciidagale + HY = Garxajis

Ansar Allah (Arabic: أنصار الله‎, English: "Supporters of God"), more commonly known as the Houthis (Arabic: الحوثيون‎ al-Ḥūthiyyūn), are a Zaidi Shia group operating in Yemen.[13] They are currently one of the de facto ruling factions in Yemen, having taken control of the capital Sana'a and parliament in a 2014–15 coup d'état.[14]

The group takes its name from Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, who launched an insurgency in 2004 and was reportedly killed by Yemeni army forces that September.[15] Several other commanders, including Ali al-Qatwani, Abu Haider, Abbas Aidah and Yousuf al-Madani (a son-in-law of Hussein al-Houthi), have also been killed by Yemeni forces.[16] The Houthi brothers' father, Badreddin al-Houthi, is said to be the spiritual leader of the group.[

You're one of those half-civilized and uneducated who depend on hearsay "Shia this shia that". Sadly, most of the Somali are lazy to read walaahi....if you only know how Muslim firqa defame one another!!! waxaa lama shir timaadeed.....and your 40 +
